The Cardinal 6-Step Process
- Profile, repair & vacuum the concrete surface to prepare it for the coating system.
- Patch cracks with 100% solids to seal any damage in the flooring.
- Apply a self-priming polyurea base coat that bonds to the slab.
- Broadcast polymer flake generously by hand for even color and texture across the floor.
- Scrape off excess flake to level the surface and prepare it for the topcoat.
- Seal with a polyaspartic topcoat. Most residential floors are ready for light foot traffic in a few hours; heavier furniture the following day.
